How Much  Added Sugar  Is Too Much?

Americans, on average, eat way too much sugar.

According to the American Heart Association, follow these sugar guidelines:

Women –  no more than 6 teaspoons  (25 grams)

Men –  no more than  9 teaspoons  (36 grams)

Children 2+  years of age –  no more than  6 teaspoons  (25 grams)

Child under 2 years of age –  no added sugar whatsoever
